Preparing students for careers in music performance and the music industry — and home of the Stampede of Sound.
Department Mission
The Department of Fine Arts provides instruction in music business management for entry into the music industry. The Fine Arts entrepreneurship center is an innovative program that provides students with a unique opportunity to learn about the music industry. Students will gain knowledge in the areas of music production, music publishing, music marketing, and music business management.

Ensembles & Performance Opportunities
Students participate in the College Choir, the Stampede of Sound marching band, and various ensemble groups. Performance opportunities include campus events, community engagements, and annual concerts.

Director of Bands
Cedric Todd
Cedric Todd serves as the Director of Bands for the Stampede of Sound, where he leads with vision, discipline, and a passion for developing excellence in every student he encounters.
A dynamic educator, arranger, and program builder, Todd is known for transforming band programs into high-performing, high-energy ensembles that command attention both on and off the field. His approach blends musical precision, innovative drill design, and a culture rooted in accountability and growth.
Under his leadership, the Stampede of Sound is not just focused on performance—but on purpose. Todd emphasizes the development of the complete student: musician, leader, and professional.
